Ariadne

Terms of use

Version 2026-09-14

1. Who we are

Ariadne is operated by Vitalii Tyshchenko, a private individual in Germany (full address and contact in the Impressum) — "we" or "the operator" below. "You" means the person invited to use Ariadne.

2. What you get

Ariadne is a personal workspace for managing an executive career transition: target companies, search firms and other channels, contacts, opportunities, activities, projects, and your own profile and documents. Access is by invitation only, free of charge, and for your personal use. There is no entitlement to access, to particular features, or to Ariadne becoming or staying available.

Ariadne is in beta: features change, are added or removed, and things can break.

3. Your access

  • You sign in with the Google account your invitation was set up for. Access is personal — do not share it or let others use your workspace.
  • Keep your Google account secure; anything done after signing in with it counts as done by you.
  • If you connect an AI assistant, you receive a personal access token for your workspace. Treat it like a password: do not publish or share it, and tell us at once if it may have leaked so we can replace it.

4. Your data

  • What you enter stays yours. You may enter your own real information — your profile, CVs, notes, and the companies and people relevant to your search.
  • Other people's data. When you record information about other people (contacts, recruiters, interviewers), you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for keeping it accurate and proportionate. Only enter what you need for your own search.
  • Your workspace is separate. Each tester's workspace has its own database, isolated from every other workspace.
  • How we treat it. We process your data only to provide Ariadne. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI. As the operator we technically have administrative access to the database; we will not look at your content except to fix a problem you report, to keep the service secure, or where the law requires it. Details: Datenschutzerklärung.
  • Export. You can export your whole workspace at any time from Settings → Data.

5. AI assistants (optional)

Ariadne has no AI inside it. You may connect your own AI assistant (for example Claude or ChatGPT) to your workspace. When you do:

  • the assistant reads your workspace data, and that data is then also processed by the AI provider under its terms and privacy policy, which you accept with that provider;
  • the assistant can make a small number of limited changes (for example add a note, plan an activity, or fill an empty field) — check what it does, just as you would check a human assistant's work;
  • AI output can be wrong. Decisions you take based on it are yours.

You can disconnect an assistant at any time in the assistant's own settings; ask us to replace your token if you want the old one to stop working.

6. Other platforms

Ariadne does not log in to, automate, or act on your LinkedIn, email or other accounts. Information from them only enters Ariadne when you paste or upload it yourself. Using those platforms remains subject to their own terms.

7. Beta — no guarantees

Ariadne is provided as is, without any guarantee of availability, uninterrupted operation, or freedom from errors. Data loss cannot be ruled out. Export your workspace regularly if it matters to you.

8. Confidentiality

Ariadne is unreleased. Please do not show it, share screenshots or recordings, or describe its features or workings to third parties without our prior consent. This does not restrict what you do with your own data, and it does not cover information that is already public.

9. Feedback

Feedback, ideas and suggestions are very welcome. By giving them, you agree that we may use them freely — including to change and commercialise Ariadne — without any obligation or payment to you.

10. Duration and ending

  • These terms apply for as long as you have access; there is no fixed end date.
  • You can end your use at any time, without giving a reason, by telling us (email is enough).
  • We can end your access at any time; where possible we give at least 14 days' notice so you can export. We may suspend access immediately in case of misuse or a security risk.
  • After the end, your workspace is deleted from the live database within 30 days. Residual copies in the hosting provider's automatic backups expire under that provider's own retention schedule.

11. Liability

Because Ariadne is provided free of charge, we are liable only for intent and gross negligence. This limitation does not apply to injury to life, body or health, to liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz), or where the law does not permit a limitation.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. A new version is shown to you when you next sign in, and you continue using Ariadne by accepting it. If you do not accept, you can export your data and end your use.

13. Law

German law applies. If you use Ariadne as a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. These terms are written in English, and the English version is binding.

14. Contact

Questions, ending your use, or a leaked token: the email address in the Impressum.
